Meet The Top Three Hospitals In Nigeria For Q1 2019

Lagos, Nigeria. – In what is now becoming a measure of hospital’s service quality, Hygeia HMO’s latest quarterly list of the top hospitals in Nigeria ranked by Hygeia HMO enrollees has been released.

As Nigeria’s premier health insurer, Hygeia HMO harnesses the power of customer feedback to help patients across the country make informed decisions about where to receive care. The list also serves as a powerful motivator to provide deserving hospitals with the recognition that their superior service deserves.

Hygeia HMO members who participated in the rankings come from across the socio-economic spectrum and thus provides insights into providers that truly serve patients well. Members also get the invaluable benefit of having Hygeia HMO provide oversight on the quality of care that they receive with active case management procedures.

As in the previous quarter, we have a healthy geographic diversity in the three hospitals with hospitals in Abuja, Ogun State and Delta State making the top three. Also remarkable is the first hospital to maintain a spot on the top 3 hospital rankings – Lily Hospital in Warri has the honour for this excellent achievement. Here are the top three for Q1 2019:

  1. St. Catherine’s Specialist Hospital, Abuja

St Catherine’s Specialist Hospital has been ranked by our members to be the number one in Nigeria. Based in Abuja at No 6 Odienna Close, Off Libreville Street in Wuse 2, St Catherine’s specialises in gynaecology, paediatrics and urology.

Celebrating their 20th year anniversary this year, this placement in the ranking is a testament to the enduring power of great service from the whole team led by Dr. John Okoye.

  1. Beachland Specialist Hospital, Arepo

As the first hospital in Ogun State to make this list, Beachland Specialist Hospital is in rarefied air. Founded in 2007 and based at Plot 16, Al-Firdaus Estate, Arepoin the Owode area, we are delighted to be able to highlight this remarkable accomplishment by the hospital’s team.

Led byDr. A.A Imran, specialities available at the hospital include general surgery, obstetrics, gynaecology, psychiatry, urology and paediatrics.

  1. Lily Hospitals, Warri

Lily Hospital clearly has a clear commitment to delivering high-quality service as they are, so far, the only hospital to appear twice in the rankings. They have now been third in the rankings for two consecutive quarters and deserve all the accolades they get.

They provide care in Minimal Access Surgery, Ophthalmology, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Cardiology, Ear, Nose and Throat conditions, Rheumatology, Dermatology and Fertility treatments.

They are Located at No 6, Brisibe Close, Off Etuwewe Road in Warri, Delta State.
